In Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh in 2013, Russian consulates and representative offices of Rostourism will be opened. It was decided to take such measures in connection with the high popularity of Russian tourists’ recreation in the resorts of Egypt and the presence of a large Russian diaspora there, the head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Alexander Radkov said at a press conference. Also, in order to increase the safety of our tourists’ rest in Rosturizm, it is planned to introduce electronic registration of tourists on the department’s website, as well as to create an operational headquarters inside it to resolve urgent issues arising from tourists during their holidays.
As it turned out, the issue of opening consulates in Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh was raised at the Ministry of Economic Development. However, Rosturizm does not intend to stop at this: the tourist market regulator plans to create an operational headquarters to solve urgent issues arising among tourists during their holidays. “In connection with a number of unpleasant incidents that took place with our tourists this year, we decided to create an operational group within Rostourism.
