For two weeks, from July 1 to July 14, 56 flights from Ukraine, Belarus, Switzerland and Hungary arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada. In total, the planes have brought 10,000 tourists to rest since the opening of Egypt, the tourism ministry said in a statement.
It is noteworthy that most of these tourists came from Ukraine and Belarus. So, only on July 14, the Red Sea resorts received 587 travelers from Ukraine and Belarus. It is noteworthy that the Russians also flew to Egypt, this is confirmed by the Egyptian authorities. Russian tourists fly both to Hurghada and to Sharm el-Sheikh via Belarus. Russians buy tours to Egypt from a Belarusian travel agency here, arrive or come to Minsk, and then go to their favorite Red Sea resorts.
Now a few Hungarians have been added to the Slavic tourists and Swiss on Egyptian beaches — the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced that the first flight from the Hungarian capital Budapest landed in Hurghada on July 12.
