Moderate summer weather is established throughout Egypt — the most comfortable for beach and sightseeing holidays, reports the Egypt Independent newspaper. Moderately hot temperatures are expected in the South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, with the hottest weather forecast only in the southern part of Upper Egypt — in the Aswan region and upstream of the Nile.
Comfortable temperatures are predicted for the following cities in Egypt: + 23 ° C in Alexandria, + 27 ° C in Cairo, + 28 ° C in Hurghada, + 28 ° C in Sharm el-Sheikh, + 33 ° C in Luxor and + 34 ° C in Aswan.
At night, the air temperature in Hurghada will not drop below + 21 ° C, and in Sharm el-Sheikh — no lower than + 22 ° C. The water in the Red Sea will warm up to + 22 ° C.
The wind will be moderate over most of the Yenipt territory. But in the south of Upper Egypt, in the south of Sinai and in the mountains of the Red Sea, the winds will be strong, raising sand and dust, and even disrupting maritime traffic.
On May holidays in Sharm El Sheikh, the daytime temperature will generally warm up to + 33 ° C, and the nighttime temperature will not drop below + 24 ° C. It will also get warmer in Hurghada: during the day there will be mostly cloudless sunny weather with daytime temperatures up to + 31 ° C, and at night at least + 23-24 ° C.
