Hurghada International Airport hosted its first charter flight from Bulgaria with 118 tourists on board after resuming flights following a suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation said that all tourists provided PCR analysis documents confirming that they tested negative for coronavirus.
Earlier in October, the airports of Hurghada and Marsa Alam welcomed flights from five European countries, now the Egyptians are looking forward to flights with tourists from Russia.
Recall that the first flights with Russian tourists directly to Hurghada should begin arriving on October 29. The program is organized by the tour operator Pegasus with a transfer in Antalya.
Egypt reopened its borders for tourism on July 1, and more and more foreign countries resume flights to the Red Sea resorts, including Switzerland, Russia, France, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and several other countries.
Recall that from September 1, all archaeological sites and museums in the country reopened, and the famous cruises on the Nile in Upper Egypt resumed their work.
