It is possible that Russia and Egypt will resume air traffic in the foreseeable future. This assessment of the situation was voiced by the country’s ambassador to Moscow, Mohamed el-Badri. According to him, at the moment negotiations are underway on this issue, which may have a positive outcome.
“You know that now a ban has been imposed on the flight of Russian aircraft to Egypt. I would like to reassure you and say that negotiations and discussions between Egypt and Russia have not stopped and contacts continue to exist, ”said Mr. El-Badri. We will remind, earlier the ambassador stated that at the moment cooperation is also carried out by the military departments, coordinating security measures.
In general, experts of the tourist business do not exclude such a possibility: “The main difference between Turkey is that Egypt has the potential to return to the Russian market, since he has been given specific requirements to ensure the safety of our tourists, while the prospects for Turkey’s return are more than vague, ”said Maya Lomidze, ATOR executive director, at a press conference on Tuesday.
