The organizer of the famous Sound & Light music and light shows in the sights of Egypt, such as the pyramids of Giza in Cairo, the Karnak Temple in Luxor, Edfu Temple, Philae Temple and Abu Simbel Temple, is increasing discounts on tickets to his show. This was announced by the Chamber of Travel Companies and Agencies of Egypt.
Thus, regular tickets will now cost foreigners 175 Egyptian pounds or $ 11. VIP tickets will cost 250 Egyptian pounds or $ 15.7. For Egyptians, entrance tickets are traditionally about 3.5 times cheaper.
Recall that the history of music and light shows at the famous pyramids of Cheops, Khafren and Mikkerin is more than venerable — they began to be held in Giza since 1960. The last such attraction was launched in Abu Simbel — in 2000. Tourists are offered to admire the light and sound show, during which the living history of Egypt, dating back to ancient times, is projected onto the ancient monuments. The show is in various languages, including Russian. The show is truly mesmerizing. As an illustration, we have brought some photos of the show from different locations.
